LamSom Playground + Landscaping, London, 2007 Lambeth Somali Community Association £50,000 Located within a small private courtyard in Stockwell the playground’s form and landscaping were inspired by Somalia’s diverse topography and colours. The Somali flag has been incorporated into the design of the playground by specifying different coloured safety surfaces. The surrounding hard and soft landscaping reflect the changing topographies of Somalia and were chosen in collaboration with the local Somali community and Trees For Cities.
